Hi, I'm Rose - welcome to my professional webpage. I'm a scientist interested in climate change, biogeochemistry, and forest ecology. I study plant roots and soils using experimental and modeling studies. I started as a forest ecologist interested in the seasonality of belowground carbon allocation, and as a postdoc have become more interested in soil carbon protection mechanisms such as organic matter associations with minerals, aggregation, and limitations on microbial activity. I currently work at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE), near Paris, France, as part of a funding call for scientists to Make our Planet Great Again. If you have questions, requests, or ideas you can contact me using the icons at the bottom of this page.
