This project aims to improve, integrate & harmonize how European forest soils are managed for climate change mitigation, biodiversity & ecosystem services. Myself and the other co-leaders of work pacakge (WP) 2 tasks are focusing on integrating multiple soils models into an ensemble modeling framework, exploring the role of microbial diversity on soil biogeochemical processes, and providing improved predictions of soil C changes after disturbance and with management in close collaboration with other WPs.
