New review and synthesis paper: "The promise of big diverse soil data, moving current practices towards future potential" published in EGU Biogeosciences
This study, led by Kathe Todd-Brown, stemmed from a survey that Kathe conducted on current pratices and pitfalls in soil data synthesis, and grew into a paper that reviews those practices but also discusses ways to overcome common pitfalls and make data more FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable). You can read the paper here. Kathe also wrote a handy explainer thread on Twitter.
